Let’s talk!
Want to join a class, book a lesson, or ask about something Italian-related?
I'm Desy (aka TheZ), an Italian teacher with an experience of almost 10 years —first as a side gig, and in the past 3 years more seriously. I now work with language schools and train professionals who move to Italy for work, often directly in their companies. I also collaborate with the channel Italianpos101.com, where you may have seen me already ;)
Alongside teaching, I also work as a consultant in Human Resources (I hold a Master’s degree in HR) in international contexts. I find that many of the skills overlap: active listening, clear communication, and a genuine desire to help people grow and thrive!Whether you're learning for travel, work, or fun — I'm ready to help you!
Let’s make learning Italian fun, practical, and something you look forward to.

Interactive, low-pressure, and more affordable — without compromising quality.
I know that joining a live lesson takes energy, especially with a busy life. That’s why I’ve thought of group lessons: engaging but relaxed, cost-effective, and focused on real communication. With experience teaching in schools and companies — often with mixed-level groups — I’ve learned how to create a comfortable and dynamic space for everyone. Here, my goal is to match you with others at a similar level and with compatible availability, so no one feels out of sync.Groups are small (maximum 6 people), and we can start with as little as 2 students. You can even join from the same device if you're in the same room.Interested? Just tell me your time zone and general availability.
I’ll let you know as soon as there’s a group ready to start.

If it’s Italian, I probably do it.Besides teaching, I also help with things like:
Translations (emails, CVs, documents, creative texts)
Tour support or trip planning (especially if you're visiting Piemonte!)
Help in setting up or running a business in Italy - Italian bureaucracy is no fun
Audio help (voice recordings, pronunciation practice, listening resources)
If you need something not listed but still Italian-related, just reach out.
I'm always open to custom ideas — and if I can't help directly, I probably know someone who can. Let's make your Italian life a little easier (and a lot more fun).
Want to Stay in the Loop (kind of)?
No regular newsletters here — mi dispiace!
But sometimes, while teaching or prepping a class, I come across something useful, fun, or just molto italiano that makes me think:
“I wish I could share this with everyone!”That’s what this is for.
Drop your name and email below, and every now and then, I might pop into your inbox with a tip, a fun cultural nugget, or an invite to a themed class you might like.
FAQs

What platform do you use for lessons?
I use Google Meet, which only requires an email address — no downloads needed.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept PayPal (which in most countries also lets you pay with credit card or Venmo), and direct bank transfer. But I’m open to suggestions!
Why do you ask for my personal info?
To issue an official invoice (as required in Italy), I need your full name, address, and — if you're living in Italy — your fiscal code (codice fiscale).
Your information stays private and is only used for invoicing purposes.
What if I need to skip a lesson?
No worries at all — life happens! We can simply reschedule.
Just please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so I can adjust the calendar.
